Sometimes a movie studio will design a temporary movie poster to display at a convention or for an important event. It happened this year at ShoWest when I grabbed the first image for the upcoming “Twilight New Moon” movie. The poster on display was nothing more than a filler image, as weeks later the first official poster was released.
Sp please take that into consideration when looking at this teaser poster for “Iron Man 2″. The poster comes to us thanks to film1.nl and it was on display at the Cinema Expo in Amsterdam. Since it looks like it’s just a temporary poster, let’s not get too excited about the lack of inspiration. But since it’s “Iron Man 2″, I figured you’d still like to see it. Take a look after the jump:
If it is or isn’t real, it’s enough to get excited. This summer is showing how GREAT last summer was. We need more real stories and strong directors - obviously. Think I’ll stay home until IM2 comes out and find my entertainment at places other than the local bijou - just keep reading Pyramids of Mars online and hope someone gets smart enough to make that into a summer movie
It’s definitely not real. The poster is created with the Iron Hero font which is basically a copy of the Iron Man font, but unlicensed. Sorry, its a fake. You can check out the Iron Hero font here.

why not make a poster with 2 masks or something? it was hinted bad that Rhodes would put on a suit in the first one, wasnt it? so it wouldnt exactly be the biggest surprise to see Stark and Rhode’s masks on the poster.
