I swear I’ll be done with Comic-Con today. What can I say, I was offered interviews with a ton of people and it takes time a lot of time to edit and post them. Anyway, if you’re looking forward to James Cameron’s “Avatar”, the interview you’re about to watch is with Stephen Lang and he talks about playing Col. Quaritch.

From what I could gather from both talking to Stephen Lang and other people at Comic-Con, Stephan plays a villain in the film. His character isn’t afraid to use violence to get things done, and I’m pretty sure that means using it against the native Na’vi population on Pandora. So after the jump you can hear Stephen talk about Comic-Con, how he got cast and what making the film was like, his character, and a lot more. Take a look:

Stephen Lang

  • Has he been to Comic-Con before
  • Did he know what it was going to be like before arriving
  • How did he come to Avatar
  • Once cast, when did he start shooting
  • What was his reaction to seeing the footage on set
  • How long did he shoot for
  • How has playing the character over a year been for him
  • Talks about his character and who he plays - Col. Quaritch
  • Has he seen the film yet
  • We talk about people’s expectations for Avatar
