According to Production Weekly’s Twitter, Director Nimrod Antal’s “Predators” will begin shooting September 28th at Robert Rodriguez’s Troublemaker Studios in Austin, Texas. I’d imagine this is pretty accurate as 20th Century Fox is releasing the film July 7th, 2010. More after the jump:

While some may be nervous after the two “Alien vs. Predator” movies, Robert Rodriguez told me at Comic-Con that he has complete creative control and Fox just wants a “cool, bitchin’ movie”. You can watch what he said about “Predators” here.  If he hadn’t told me that info I’d be dreading this film like a heart attack. But, if Fox is leaving him alone to make whatever he thinks is cool, I’m more than happy to give it a chance and keep an open mind. I’m sure they’ll be announcing casting soon with a start date next month. More as we hear it.

Sure the Predators are scary, but are meaner than the T’hee in Pyramids of Mars. Those guys are enslaving the human race (www.pyramidsofmars.com)
