As I mentioned with the bootleg, I’m excited for “Avatar” because it looks like a fun adventure film and I’m not going to pick apart the CG since I believe story and characters come first anyway.  This new trailer is what features those elements.  It’s also the trailer you saw as a bootleg and the trailer you’ll see tomorrow at 1pm EST.  We’re just bringing you this one now because other than the subtitles, this is the full trailer.  If you’re not freaked out by a foreign language at the bottom of the screen, then check out the trailer after the jump plus a  photo of a French poster for the film.

“Avatar” hits theaters on December 16th.

UPDATE: A new Featurette has been released. Check it out after the jump:

Holy shit that’s what I am talking about .This is the trailer we have been waiting for great to see some Avatar Day footage mixed in too. This is a must watch in 3d it will not look animated or unreal in 3d I promise you that. Now it’s only up to the audiences to go and watch it and make it a big hit like Terminator 2.Remember Sherlock Holmes will not damage this movie because it’s gonna last at least 3d months in 3d theaters in Imax and it’s gonna be on a longer run than the other movies. So it will pick in it’s second and third week and make more money like his other movies did.I won’t go on the opening weekend and tell that if the movie open to 65 million that it is a flop it depend on the longer run.As far I am concerned Avatar won’t go easily out of theaters and people who don’t know anything about Avatar will a lot of time to come and watch it again and again.

    This is to Matt.

Who the hell are you to ” pick apart ” the CGI anyway?
When are people gonna realize that this movie, regardless of who directed it, has had the very best production houses on Earth, with their very best people, working on it for the last 3 or 4 years.
Do you think Weta and ILM have been sitting twiddling their thumbs since LOTR and Davy Jones?
Of course not. They’ve all moved on, developing new techniques as they go.
That, combined with all the other talented artists, not to mention the creative genius of James Cameron himself, can only go towards not just an amazing 3 hour roller coaster of eye popping entertainment for Avatar, but for the very future of how science fiction movies are made in general.
We’re already seeing every major movie maker in Hollywood sit up and take notice of just how good Avatar looks, and some of them have already started using this new technology in their up-coming productions.
This is the absolute pinnacle of how far technology in the movie industry has come, and if you, and others out there, believe that you can ” pick it apart “, then you also have to look at every single CG image that’s ever been put on screen, because like I say, this movie has had every major production house working on it, using every ounce of brilliance that they can muster.

Avatar is the new benchmark. Every movie with cg character effects that comes after it, will always be compared to Avatar.

    Now, please everyone…..stop the hating.

Matt you still suck in writing articles you just don’t know even to make a movie so your point of view is just diminshed. But the trailer looks just fantastic .I just want to say that if you have not seen this movie in IMAX3D, you have no idea what it is like. I was lucky enough to watch 20 minutes of the movie and to this day I cant forget the experience. It was mind bending, colorful, one of a kind thrill ride. I actually got emotionally involved in every scene because I can easily say I was at Pandora. When James said you’ll be inside of this movie and you’ll be dreaming while being awake, he meant it. This will change the way you watch movies forever. And the CGI on your monitor vs IMAX3D. Those blue Elves become real, every emotion, movement and voices, it all comes to life. Just see it.I know Matt all that is going thorough head is Tron is great in 3d but my friend this is the movie that first started it .I don’t have anything against you all of the things that comes to your mind first is only negative comments this is not good this bad take a hype and chill out.
