THE HANGOVER 2 Starts Filming This Fall

With The Hangover 2 scheduled for release Memorial Day weekend 2011, it’s no surprise filming has to begin this year.  When we caught up with director Todd Phillips at the home video junket for The Hangover he told us, “we’re going to shoot Hangover 2 hopefully this summer.”  But on the red carpet during the Golden Globe Awards Sunday night, Billy Bush asked Bradley Cooper if they were already filming the sequel and he said, “we’re gonna do that in the fall. That’ll be a lot of fun.”

With so many websites reporting this news, I figured we should do the same. But is anyone surprised filming is set to begin later this year?  I think the real story would be if Cooper said they weren’t filming.  Obviously we are excited for the sequel so expect plenty of updates as we get them.
