Trailer Time - 'Find Me Guilty'

The trailer for Find Me Guilty is up and running. When I'd heard that Sidney Lumet, director of such movie milestones as Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon and Network had decided to make a film with action stalwart Vin Diesel, well, my curiosity was piqued (after the initial shock wore off, of course). Sometimes, this type of risk yields great results, as with James Mangold's well-crafted Cop Land some years back, which featured some of Sly Stallone's best acting in decades. Some directors just find themselves invigorated by the challenge of helping reinvent someone on the big screen.
According to Diesel, he started his early years in acting doing theater in New York, so perhaps he's got some untapped chops that XXX simply didn't bother to utilize. Looks like maybe he's ready for a new chapter in his career. Find Me Guilty is the true story of Jack DiNorscio, an incarcerated mobster who served as his own lawyer and testified in a trial to put some of his own "family" members away. Time will tell as to how this one stacks up, but until then, you can view the trailer here.
