This is my first “Obituary Haiku” entry for the site. It’s new a form of journalism that I invented and named. It’s fitting that our first honoree was a journalist who also added a term in the field. Bill Cardoso was a buddy of Hunter S. Thompson’s, and he was the guy who first put a name to Hunter’s unique style.
