Want to Watch the New Killers Video for ‘Bones’ Directed by Tim Burton?

While some people have been less than impressed with the new Killers album, Sam’s Town, I am not one of them. It recently entered my iPod and I haven’t stopped listening yet. The thing I dig about the album is unlike most CDs which can be started and stopped on any track, this new album is clearly meant to be played from beginning to end. The tracks flow from one to the next one much in the same vein as Green Day’s American Idiot, but without the political commentary.

When I now here the song When You Were Young on the raio I actually miss the enterlude that goes before it, which is an important part of the song. If you are judging this CD based on one or two songs you are really missing out, and I would suggest pushing play on track one and listening to the entire record in one sitting.

But now why we are here.

Tim Burton recently popped his cherry and directed his first music video for a song called Bones by The Killers. Below is the clip, it just premiered online earlier today. If you are a fan of classic movies you will dig the references all throughout the video. While I am not blown away by the video I definitely think it is worth watching, especially if you are a fan of the band or Mr. Burton.

So without further ado…
