Perhaps you don’t recognize Karl’s name. But even if you don’t know it, trust me, you know his work. He’s been in a few small independent movies like Lord of the Rings, The Bourne Supremacy and Doom. For those who might be familiar with LOTR, he played Eomer.

But the reason he was in town yesterday was to do some early press on his upcoming movie Pathfinder. Since the film doesn’t get released until April 20^th, yeah 4/20 for all you stoners, I didn’t get a chance to see it.

What I decided to do is start the interview asking him about the new movie. From there I asked why he thinks Chronicles of Riddick didn’t catch on with moviegoers. Of course we covered his work on LOTR and I was going to ask him about the Peter Jackson and New Line problems in working something out on The Hobbit, but before I could ask he answered on his own. At the end of the interview we spoke about what he’s working on next and went back to a Pathfinder question.

While the sound is not perfect as my voice is a bit low on the recording, I think the interview might be the best one I’ve done yet on camera.
