STAR TREK Movie Poster – Comic-Con

While J.J. Abrams is giving Comic-Con and all the fans a big fuck you as he isn’t showing any footage from his upcoming Trek movie, that doesn’t mean the studio is stupid and is forgetting fandom matters.

It seems Paramount is going to promote the movie by giving away posters and other unnamed items at a booth on the convention floor. Or, perhaps they’ll have people walking around handing out stuff.

That’s what’s great about Con…all the random people walking around giving swag away for free. If you look around, you can always get a ton of free shirts and posters.

But back to Trek.

While I think J.J. is out of his frackin’ mind with all the security…it is what it is.

I just think not having the costumes revealed yet or a group shot of the cast is crazy. After all, we all know the costumes aren’t that much different from the original cast’s costumes. Just show them already. The movie comes out in less than a year. Whatever.

The problem with the posters is you can only get one per badge…which means you’ll need 3 other friends to get the posters you don’t have and then convince them to give them to you. Good luck.

Personally, I like the posters a lot. And if you're a Trekkie...these are must get items.

Finally, the four person poster is courtesy of EW.com and the poster of Spock is from Trek Movie.com They also have close-ups of the other 3 people.
