What? No major villains?
I'm sorry but you simply have no idea what you're talking about...
Darkseid?
Brainiac?
Metallo?
There's more than that (to be honest Doomsday isn't really that great a villian...hes just cool on the level of how strong and fast he is...but thats as far as it goes), but really Darkseid is one of the coolest villains anywhere, in any superhero's universe. If singer doesn't use him I PRAY that he at least sets up the seeds for Darkseid in a third movie. My goodness a Darkseid movie would be EPIC.

Sorry to say but there are no major Villains in Superman.
Lex Luthor? How good of a Villain is he?
Kryptonite? We're talking about a rock here people...
Doomsday? Now that's a little better
And well basically that's it.
You want to know why the movie didn't do very well?
Because people can't related to Superman as much as other characters. Superman is a god in all aspects, and nobody can relate to that. And he has very little problems, which is why there is the phrase "There's nothing Superman can't do"...
Without any drama or excitement, Superman is just plain old BLAH!
Singer go back to X-Men!
