Just a few short hours ago I was on the red carpet of tonight’s Los Angeles premiere of “Watchmen”. While there, I landed a ton of interviews and by tomorrow they’ll all be online.

Anyway, two of the people I managed to talk to were Brandon Routh and Sam Huntington.

About a month ago I spoke with Brandon at the “Fanboys” premiere where he talked to me about his upcoming movies “Dead of Night” and “Scott Pilgrim”. Since that interview Brandon has done some filming on "Dead of Night" and he was more than happy to tell me about it.

But the real highlight was Brandon and Sam revealing that Sam will be playing Marcus in “Dead of Night”. For those unfamiliar with the comic, Marcus is Dylan Dog’s assistant (Groucho was his comic book name). Brandon also told me that the company that won the makeup effects for Benjamin Button is going to do "Dead of Night". Finally, we talked about how busy he’s about to be and this year’s Comic-Con.

I also spoke with a ton of other people tonight and I’ll have all of them online tomorrow.

Brandon Routh and Sam Huntington Watchmen Premiere

  • They say they’re doing Dead of Night together – Sam is going to play Marcus
  • Brandon explains the character and how it’s different than the comic
  • Brandon says the company that won the makeup effects for Benjamin Button is going to do Dead of Night (Drac Studios – Greg Cannom)
  • He says that he shot a bit last week and now he has a bit of time off before going back
  • He says the scene they shot was in the middle of the film
  • He talks about how he’ll be busy this year also with Scott Pilgrim
  • Comic-Con talk
