Shia, can you talk without revealing…?
Shia LaBeouf: No, I can’t.
…your first meeting with Harrison?
Shia LaBeouf: Yeah, he’s the man. He’s the man.
I’ll follow up on that. How does Harrison…does it look like he’s oh my God getting ready for this? Is he…?
Shia LaBeouf: Yeah, Harrison is ready to go. He’s jacked, he’s ready to go. He’s in shape. I’ve never seen a man that age in that type of shape.
When do you start shooting?
Shia LaBeouf: Very soon. I’m getting good at this, dude!
A week?
Shia LaBeouf: Soon, soon.
Here’s a better question are you doing Spielberg’s next movie after this by any chance?
Shia LaBeouf: He’s got a bunch of next movies.
The one about the President?
Shia LaBeouf: No.
Young Abe Lincoln?
Shia LaBeouf: No, no, no, no.
Have you had your birthday yet? I know it’s soon.
Shia LaBeouf: Yeah, yeah. 4 days ago.
Oh, ok. I knew you were kind of dreaming of going to Scotland or something I guess.
Shia LaBeouf: Yeah, I think I might have just said it just to sound cool. I don’t think I was ever planning on going to Scotland.
Well, how did you celebrate?

Shia LaBeouf: Uh, I went to like a cigar lounge in Beverly Hills and smoked cigars and drank some Scotch.
Alright.
Shia LaBeouf: It was cool.
You’re 21?
Shia LaBeouf: 21.
And you just turned 21, too right this year?
Megan Fox: Yeah, in May. May 16th.
And how did you celebrate?
Megan Fox: I was working. I was at a Maxim party in New York. It was great.
Shia, with all these movies you’re doing do you have to date anyone?
Shia LaBeouf: Yeah sure.
Are you seeing anyone?
Shia LaBeouf: I’m just dating and messing around. 21 years old, doing the 21 year old thing.
Have you dated her?
Shia LaBeouf: Have I dated…?
Her?
Shia LaBeouf: On camera yeah, sure. She’s engaged.
Oh, congratulations.
Shia LaBeouf: Congratulations.
Have you guys set a date yet?
Megan Fox: No.
Can you guys talk about the experience of working for Michael Bay and also are you guys looking forward to working for him again assuming that it makes the money.
Megan Fox: I’ll be in any movie he makes ever. He makes gigantic blockbuster films that shit-loads of people go to see and to turn that down I think I personally would be crazy. You’re in more of a precarious position than I am.

Shia, can you say…you’ve been around Spielberg for the past couple films but the fact that you’re going to be taking direction from him in the next week or so, can you talk a little bit about how you’re preparing yourself for that maybe?
Shia LaBeouf: Yeah. It’s a whole different thing. It’s a lot of pressure. You feel pressure. Because there’s a part of you that’s like this is great, I should trust him completely…Steven Spielberg you know. The modern day Elia Kazan, he knows what he’s doing. Relax. But then there’s the other part of you that goes ok, now you gotta earn this. There’s got to be a reason. I still don’t feel it makes any sense for me to be in the movie.
Do you feel you have to up your game?
Shia LaBeouf: Oh yeah. I can just see the first day with Steven behind the camera and Lucas behind the monitor and Harrison over there and Kate over there and like action! What the fuck are you about? It’s scary to me. It’s scary.
So do we have a scene with the fedora and a whip?
Shia LaBeouf: No.
