"The Fall" was filmed all around the world and believe me it shows. Scene after scene is a marvel to look at, and what Tarsem does with the camera and the colors he uses are amazing. Trust me…watch the trailer or some movie clips (click here to see them) and you’ll see what I mean.

Anyway, recently we were able to interview both Lee Pace (“Pushing Daisies”) and Tarsem, and both interviews are below. And one quick thing before watching, while I didn’t get to do the interviews, all the questions were ones that I had someone ask. So while it isn’t my voice, they are my questions.

Again, I strongly recommend both “Speed Racer” and “The Fall” this weekend. Both are like nothing you’ve ever seen.

Lee Pace

• I wanted to know how did Tarsem explain the movie to you when he first met with you. Did he have storyboards or any artwork? Did he explain visually what he hoped to accomplish?
• What was Tarsem like
• Your relationship with Catinca seemed very real. Some of the dialogue that went back and forth felt like she wasn’t expecting it. Was it all scripted or did you say things to her that were unexpected.
• The movie was filmed all around the world. What was your favorite location and which country would you want to go back to for the nightlife?
• With most movies there are changes or additions while on the set, but with this movie so much has to happen that’s scripted. Was that an extra challenge or did you still alter things as you went.
• Pushing Daisies has become a nice sized hit for ABC, what do you hope for next season and is it weird for you to be on a hit show.
• Speaking of the show, have you had any kids or even adults get nervous when you go to touch them yet?
• What do you have coming up and when do you start filming again?

·         This movie seemed like it was a very planned shoot. How long was preproduction and how long was the shoot?

·         You traveled the world to bring The Fall to life, what country posed the most technical challenges and where did you have the most fun shooting.

·         If you had to go back to one of your locations for the nightlife, where would you go and why?

·         When did you first decide you were going to make The Fall and why did it mean so much to you to tell this story.

·         The film is stunning visually and color plays a big part of the movie, was there a conscious choice for who got which color and where the colors were used?
