As most of you already know, in less than two weeks we’re getting a new “Friday the 13th” movie. So to help promote the film, we’ve been provided with three movie clips that you can watch right now.

And to those fans wondering if this re-imagining works…I saw the movie Friday night and thought it was really well done. I cannot imagine any “Friday the 13th” fan not being happy with director Marcus Nispel’s movie.

Also, what’s great is the movie reminded me a lot of an 80’s flick, as it had plenty of tits and ass as well as kick ass death scenes. I saw the screening with all the major horror journalists and they were all smiles as they walked out of the screening.

If you’ve been nervous…it’s time to relax and get ready for a bloody good time.

Finally, Dellamorte interviewed most of the cast yesterday, so look for those video interviews soon. Until then, here’s the synopsis and clips. I’ve also reposted the trailer in case you missed it.

Searching for his missing sister, Clay (Jared Padalecki) heads up to the eerie woods of legendary Crystal Lake, where he stumbles on the creaky remains of rotting old cabins behind moss-covered trees.

And that’s not the only thing lying in wait under the brush.

Against the advice of police and cautions from the locals, Clay pursues what few leads he has, with the help of a young woman he meets among a group of college kids up for an all-thrills weekend.  But they are about to find much more than they bargained for.

Little do they know, they’ve entered the domain of one of the most terrifying specters in American film history—the infamous killer who haunts Crystal Lake, armed with a razor-sharp machete… Jason Voorhees.

“Friday the 13th” is directed by Marcus Nispel (“The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”) and stars Jared Padalecki (TV’s “Supernatural”).  The ensemble cast also features Danielle Panabaker (“Mr. Brooks”), Aaron Yoo (“Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist”), Amanda Righetti (“Role Models”), Travis Van Winkle (“Transformers”), and Derek Mears (“The Hills Have Eyes II”) as Jason.
