Three Minutes of WOLVERINE Spread Over Three Nights on FOX

I would love it if Rupert Murdoch just took his whole empire and devoted it to selling "Wolverine". How about Hugh Jackman hosting The O'Reilly Factor? How about a story in The New York Post reporting rumors about the Weapon-X program? Why not just give the entire pages of The Wall Street Journal over to Wolverine's rippling abs?
None of that will happen, but Fox is using its television network to promote the film and to promote it for three nights. This move probably explains why Fox didn't air an ad for "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" during the Super Bowl. Instead, Fox will be airing a sixty-second spot on February 15th during "Family Guy", another on February 16th during "House", and a third on February 16th during "American Idol". Each spot is part of a narrative and when you piece them together, you get the whole story (as most narratives tend to work).
So you have a choice: you can sit and watch these shows in order to be the "first" to see new "Wolverine" footage. OR you can wait five minutes and the Internet will show you the way. Be certain that we will have these clips or die trying. But most likely we'll get these clips along with every other movie website.
"X-Men Origins: Wolverine" hits theatres on May 1st.
