Trailer: THE HANGOVER

Sometimes it's very difficult to sell a raunchy film with a green-band trailer.  "The Hangover" doesn't look like it will have that problem.

While my rational brain is trying to tell me "This looks like 'Dude, Where's My Car'!  Todd Phillips is over-rated and 'Old School' was six years ago!  Mike Tyson is a horrible human being and the sooner we forget him the better!" this trailer for "The Hangover" [via Yahoo!

Movies] gave me some massive laughs.

I also really dig it because it could very well be the breakout film for Zack Galifianakis who basically steals the whole trailer and he has some serious comedic competition from Ed Helms and Rob Riggle.  I'm also predicting (because I'm so great at diving the future) that if there's going to be a big hit film this summer that's not a sequel and/or based on an existing movie, TV show, comic book, or action figure line, "The Hangover" will be it.  Steve also noted yesterday in his ShoWest article for Warner Bros. presentation that the reaction to this trailer was massive so I'm assuming that will be the reaction nationwide.  I'll be sure to have Rassmussen put a poll into the field.

Check out the trailer below.  "The Hangover" hits theatres on June 5th.
