A film quietly around the corner is Sony’s “District 9”. The film is produced by Peter Jackson and directed Neill Blomkamp, and it’s set in a fictional world where extraterrestrials have become refugees in South Africa.

This is the film that everyone online has been talking about, but until now, no footage had been released. In fact, Sony has only released one image so far, so the ones you see in this article have been screen grabbed from the trailer.

As you watch this very well done teaser, you’ll see that they’re keeping what the film is about till the end, as most people will see this in a movie theater and will have no idea what this film is about till the reveal.

What’s also very interesting about “District 9” is the way it’s going to use sci-fi to address race relations and illegal immigrants.
