I’m on a short break at the “Terminator Salvation” junket and I noticed the first trailer for the new Woody Allen movie “Whatever Works” has been released. Due to my terrible bandwidth, I can’t watch it. So I can’t comment on how the trailer looks.
But since I saw the movie at this year’s ShoWest, I can tell you the film is quite funny and Larry David as Woody Allen is great. If you’re a fan of either Woody or Larry, it’s a much see film. Here’s the synopsis:
An eccentric New Yorker (Larry David) abandons his upper class life to lead a more bohemian existence. He meets a young girl from the south and her family and no two people seem to get along in the entanglements that follow. The film also stars Ed Begley Jr., Patricia Clarkson, Conleth Hill, Michael McKean, Evan Rachel Wood, and a number of other amusing types.
“Whatever Works” opens June 19th. Here’s the trailer. Click here for HD.
