As I said in the Captain America article I just posted… earlier today I did a set visit for the movie “Iron Man” and was able to participate in a pretty long press conference with Kevin Feige – the President of Production at Marvel. While I’m under embargo for anything “Iron Man” (so please don’t ask) I’m allowed to write up anything else that we got.
I’m currently hard at work transcribing but here are some more highlights....
WOLVERINE
How close are you to a director on Wolverine? Is D.J. Caruso directing it?
Kevin Feige: We’ve not signed a director. Fox has not signed a director yet. There are a lot of people in the mix. It’s hard; you know I think it’s very close. I’ve thought that for four or five weeks now.
Which one will go first, Wolverine or Magneto?
I think Wolverine will be released first.
Do you think they’ll be within a year of each other?
I don’t know.

SPIDER-MAN 4
What are Marvel’s thoughts on Spider-Man 4?
Kevin Feige: Marvel’s thoughts are that we couldn’t be happier with the success of Spider-Man 3 and it’s the top grossing, or will be the top grossing Spider-Man of all time so there definitely will be another Spider-Man adventure. I don’t know how, what that will take … the discussions with Sony are just beginning as they are still promoting it in some parts of the world and finishing the… I know the whole team is still working on the Spider-Man 3 DVD so we’re still very much in finishing Spider-Man 3 mode.
GHOST RIDER 2
Many fans and critics had a problem with Ghost Rider but it still made a lot of money… so any update on Ghost Rider 2?
Kevin Feige: Not that I’ve heard. I know they’re promoting the DVD right now. I think I read on some of your websites some interviews with Mark Steven Johnson in promoting that which is coming out pretty soon. But no discussions yet.
