If you’ve been watching NBC over the last few weeks you’ve definitely seen a commercial about Jerry Seinfeld’s “Bee Movie.” It’s been the most unrelenting ad campaign in recent memory. Whenever I watch anything on the network… Jerry’s pimping this film. For his sake, I hope it’s good.
But while no one has seen it yet (press screening start this week) the good folks at Paramount/DreamWorks have provided me with 10 movie clips for you to watch now. I’m doing the press day for this over the weekend, so you can expect an interview with Jerry and some of the rest of the cast to run next week. But until then, here’s the synopsis and clips:
Barry B. Benson is a graduate bee fresh out of college who is disillusioned at his lone career choice: making honey. On a rare trip outside the hive, Barry's life is saved by Vanessa, a florist in New York City. As their relationship blossoms, he discovers humans are mass consumers of honey and decides to sue the human race for stealing bees' honey.
