By now most of you know the deal with “Southland Tales.” The film premiered at Cannes a few years ago and it didn’t go over well. Audiences who saw the only screening of the eagerly awaited follow up to “Darko” were left scratching their heads.

But now, after a long time editing the movie and getting some extra money to finish the special effects, Richard has finally finished and it’ll be everywhere next Friday. So to help you get ready for the movie, I’ve been provided with 4 clips and they’re below the synopsis.

Set in Los Angeles in the year 2008 during a three day heat wave just before a huge 4th of July celebration, a large ensemble cast of characters include Boxer Santaros (Dwayne Johnson), an action star stricken with amnesia, Krysta Now (Sarah Michelle Gellar), an adult film star developing her own reality television project and Roland Taverner (Seann William Scott), a Hermosa Beach police officer who holds the key to a vast conspiracy.
