Marvel’s Quarterly Report Reveals New Projects
2/19/2008

Marvel has just released their 4th quarter and 2007 year end results to investors, and while the information provided is mostly for stockholders, if you’re curious what’s being developed at the company, you’re about to get an update.

When you look over the list, you’ll see that Marvel has left out the names of writer or directors that have been attached to a project. I’m not sure what the reason is, perhaps it has to do with the film still on the development side of the table. After all, many people might develop a project for years and then leave due to a myriad of reasons before actually shooting the film. Look at what recently happened at Universal for “Wolf Man.” So I think that’s probably the reason why we don’t see Edgar Wright’s name for “Ant-Man,” or Matthew Vaughn’s for “Thor.”

So if you’re curious what’s in the immediately pipeline, enjoy the list. For even more info – like how much money the company has and how their toy sales were – you can go to Yahoo’s business site.
