Clint Eastwood Is a Man of Mystery

I'm always tickled when I think that Clint Eastwood went from directing two completely wretched films, "True Crime" and "Blood Work" to being one of the most acclaimed directors working today with "Mystic River", "Million Dollar Baby", and "Letter from Iwo Jima". The latter films are all vastly over-rated but Eastwood is good people. If anything, I think those films failed on a script level more than Eastwood's directing.
But now he's back and while a new Eastwood project usually attracts attention, Warner Bros. quietly revealed his new film, "Gran Torino" will be slated for a December release and will not only be directed by Eastwood, but will also be his first acting project since "Million Dollar Baby". Nothing is known about "Torino" other than it will feature a character who's a grizzled old man. It may also involve cars. It will also involve Mothra and possibly Mechagodzilla.
If Warner Bros. doesn't want me to make shit up, then they should throw me a logline:
