Platinum Dunes, remaking "Friday the 13th" along with any other horror film they can get their grubby little mitts on, is in final negotiations to sign "Supernatural" star Jared Padalecki as the lead in the horror film. His character would be investigating what happened at Camp Crystal Lake. I'll solve the mystery for him right now: a dude in a hockey mask murders a bunch of horny teenagers because they have sex. The end.

I only report this because apparently "Supernatural" fans are pretty hardcore. Good for them, I guess. I like it when scrappy little shows on low-rated networks can rally a base of fans to the point where they have conventions solely for that show. Sadly, no one has ever shown up for my annual "Ghost Whisperer"-con.
