THE RUINS – 20 New Images

Opening on April 4th is the Carter Smith directed horror/thriller “The Ruins.” I’ve actually been hearing a lot of positive buzz on the movie, with a few people telling me it’s not your typical waste of time horror movie and it’s worth watching. While horror isn’t usually my thing…with people I trust telling me good things, I’m looking forward to checking it out.
And since the movie is only two weeks away from arriving in theaters, DreamWorks and Spyglass Entertainment have released a bunch of new images from the film. Check them out after the synopsis:
Based on the terrifying best-seller by Scott Smith, “The Ruins” follows a group of friends who become entangled in a brutal struggle for survival after visiting a remote archaeological dig in the Mexican jungle – where they discover something deadly living among the ruins. “The Ruins” stars Jonathan Tucker (“The Black Donnellys”), Jena Malone (“Pride and Prejudice”), Shawn Ashmore (“X-Men: The Last Stand”), Laura Ramsey (“She’s the Man”) and Joe Anderson (“Across the Universe”). The film is directed by Carter Smith from a screenplay by Scott B. Smith.
