Speaking for myself, I have already had an unprecedented look inside Pamela Anderson. It was dark and scary and a little crowded in there. It certainly wasn’t anywhere I’d want to revisit “in the style of a uniquely shot documentary.” A poorly shot home video would certainly garner more viewers, if Anderson’s history holds.

The series is slated to air this summer and is tentatively titled “Pamela,” though don’t rule out “Pancho and Lefty: The Pam Anderson Story.” Anderson’s latest foray into television seems a natural arc in her career. She’s struck out on the big screen, with sit-coms and even as a novelist. Reality TV isn’t the worst option for an aging sex symbol – it worked for Anna Nicole Smith, didn’t it?
