I OBSERVE AND REPORT that Faris, Pena, and Liotta Have Made a Wise Decision

I'm keeping "The Foot Fist Way" hype-train a rollin' (I have seen the film and it is good so it's really more buzz than hype) and letting you know that Anna Faris, Michael Pena, and Ray Liotta will star alongside Seth Rogen in writer/director Jody Hill's upcoming film "Observe and Report".  Hill co-wrote and directed "Foot Fist" and I think that even if that film isn't the sleeper hit I'm hoping it will be (it's coming out on May 30th and I think it's going to get steamrolled by the juggernaut of blockbusters), I think he's got a hit on his hand just from the premise alone:

"Report" centers around Ronnie Barnhardt (Rogen), a deluded, self-important head of mall security who squares off in a turf war against local cops.

Faris will play a salesgirl who's the object of Ronnie's affection, which is a bit of a let-down since Faris is such a talented comedian and it sounds like she won't get to stretch that comedic muscle.  But the good news is that Liotta is playing a police detective who is Ronnie's nemesis.  But Michael Pena and Jesse Plemons will have Ronnie's back as two fellow security guards.  Pena has never really impressed me but I'm looking forward to seeing Plemons use the comedic talents he had to hide this past season on "Friday Night Lights" in lieu of high drama and wooing Adrianne Palicki.

Click here to know that the way of the Foot Fist is the way to success.
