Tina Fey is my hero. She is smart and kind of hot, and now she has the number one movie of the weekend with "Baby Mama." Go girl, go. "Baby Mama" edged out much more guy-centric fare like last weekend's contenders "The Forbidden Kingdom" and "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," as well as this weekend's number two film "Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay." So - either a lot of women convinced their husband's to go see the baby movie or, to borrow the phrase, Bitch is the new Boy.

Elsewhere in the top ten, "Deception," starring Ewan MacGregor and Michelle Williams (you know, Heath Ledger's ex) barely edged out "Street Kings" to make the top ten, according to Box Office Mojo. The rest of the list shows family films still the strongest performers with "Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who" now nearing a total of 150 million while "Nim's Island" is closing on 40 mill. Out of the top ten (Praise Jesus!) is last week's number nine film, the documentary "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed." This 'documentary' from commentator Ben Stein dropped to number 13, but while showing in just over 1,000 theatres made an impressive 1,379,00 in grosses. This only proves that a lot of people really are clinging to religion and guns – and bad science – out in the heartland.
