Eclectic writer/director Wayne Kramer (The Cooler), is set to re-team with his Running Scared star Paul Walker on a pair of new projects, reports Chud.com.

Walker promises that the first project, which is set to shoot in the 4th quarter of 2008, will be even more over the top than the duo’s last ode to testosterone, stating that, “'The third act is going to make Running Scared look like Romper Room.”

The second project is titled, Evilseek and is set to shoot in early 2009. Evilseek details the ultra-violent misadventures of Satan as he looks for a new overlord of hell while inhabiting the body of a police officer who recently committed suicide.

This second project is of special interest because it was almost a go several times in the past with Tom Jane as the dead cop/Satan and Kramer, then Saw maestro David Lynn Bousmann at the helm.

During the film’s fist incarnation Johnny Messner (Anacondas: The Blood Orchid) was in talks to take a supporting role. After an interview on the set of Believers he described some scenes from the movie to me and they sounded delightfully off color and macabre. Messner’s current involvement in the project is unknown, but would seem to fit because he too has previous experience with Kramer in Running Scared.

Kramer has a full slate ahead of him as he completes finishing touches on his Oscar-bait, immigration drama, Crossing Over before beginning work on this pair of projects.
