Currently filming on a few soundstages at Universal in Hollywood is “Land of the Lost.” Yes, the show from the 70’s is getting a big budget makeover thanks to director Brad Silberling, and he’s brought along Will Ferrell, Danny McBride and Anna Friel for the ride.

While the synopsis is still under wraps, according to USA Today, “The plot involves three adults (not a dad and two kids as on TV) accidentally thrust into a realm ruled by dinosaurs, monkey-men called Pakuni and the murderous Sleestak.”

Anyway, the first image of the Sleestak has been released and it’s below. As you can see, the movies doing something radical…it’s using men in suits rather than CGI. I couldn’t be happier.
