Jonah Hill is the great comic actor who cannot only kill with funny material like he did in "Superbad", but in unfunny crap like "Evan Almighty".  Either way, he's definitely going to be a help to a film that doesn't need any if he signs on to be the comic relief in "Transformers 2".  I don't even think the film will need "comic relief".  The first one had plenty of funny moments but there was no single comic-relief character.  Almost everyone got in some good laughs.  Still, you're not going to catch me arguing against casting Hill in a movie.
