Martin Weisz to Climb CLOCK TOWER

The premise of Capcom's "Clock Tower" game is kind of brilliant. It's survival horror but with no way of defending yourself. You're basically just trying to stay one step ahead of a guy who's trying to murder you with the world's largest pair of scissors. His name? Scissorman (THIS is what happens when you get rejected from a "Mega Man" game).
In a game, that's a great premise. Any moment can be Game Over.
There's a pressure to solve puzzles and keep moving forward. In a movie, you're not going to get that because you know you're going to get at least ninety minutes of runtime. So where's the pressure? How is it anything but tedious.
Martin Weisz (The Hills Have Eyes 2) will have to figure out how to capture a nightmarish quality of it without just providing constant jump scares. Best of luck with that.
