TWILIGHT Movie Poster

Okay, this is getting a bit ridiculous. In the past week I’ve posted more than a few stories on “Twilight” and it’s got to stop. Not only because I don’t know that much about the movie…but due to the fact that the film doesn’t hit theaters till this December!

Since I haven’t yet read the book…

"Twilight" tells the story of 17-year-old Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) who moves to the small town of Forks, Washington to live with her father, and becomes drawn to Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a pale, mysterious classmate who seems determined to push her away. But neither can deny the attraction that pulls them together... even when Edward confides that he and his family are vampires. Their unorthodox romance puts her in physical danger when Edward's nemesis comes to town and sets his sights on Bella.

The thing to know about the series is…it’s very popular. Also, the fans are very vocal about the world of “Twilight.” I’ve never seen message boards and comment sections light up like what’s happened for “Twilight.” Seriously. It’s crazy.

While I don’t know if that’ll translate into box office glory, at least the movie has a fanbase that cares and they’ll definitely help spread the word prior to release.

Anyway, at Comic-Con this summer, Summit Entertainment is planning some big things for “Twilight.” I’ve heard they’ll be bringing the cast as well as exclusive footage. But since it’s still a few months away and there could be an actors strike…don’t quote me quite yet.

But if the cast is there…you can expect some interviews on Collider as we’ll be at Comic-Con in full force.

Until then, here’s the first poster for the movie that just premiered on MTV.com. While I had issues with the first official image due to way too much photoshop…this is more like it.

Expect more “Twilight” updates as info and images are released.
