Two more actors have joined the cast of David O Russell's political comedy "Nailed." Kirstie Alley will play Jessica Biel's aunt and James Brolin replaces James Caan as the Speaker of the House of Representatives. Caan quit the production three weeks ago after a squabble with Russell about the best way for his character to choke on a cookie – still the funniest reason for quitting a film that I've heard. I'm just waiting for the footage to come out so I can see how the altercation compares to Russell's "I Heart Huckabees" fight with Lily Tomlin.

"Nailed" is about a young woman (Biel) with a nail stuck in her head. I know that sounds good enough, but the nail also increases her sex drive. I will pause to allow all of the erotic implications of that sentence soak in for you.

Jake Gyllenhaal co-stars as a young senator who helps Biel's character in her fight for the bizarrely injured – seriously. As for Brolin, don't expect him to give any lip to the notoriously hot-headed director. He's married to Barbara Streisand, isn't he? He knows how to shut up and take abuse.

Stop mentally nailing Jessica Biel and click here.
