Jonah Hill won't be in Transformers 2

Entertainment Weekly has reported that the talks between "Superbad" star Jonah Hill and Dreamworks have broken down. Sorry folks, he won't be bringing the funny after all. Hill was in negotiations to co-star as Shia LeBeouf's "sidekick" in the sequel to Michael Bay's big-honking robot mega hit.
So, I'm not sure whether to be sad for "Transformers 2" or happy for Jonah Hill. Where the inclusion of Hill would have made me more likely to go see the sequel, playing a sidekick to Shia LeBeouf is kind of weak he's the guy who got arrested for NOT leaving a Walgreen's, you know.
Hill can take solace in his upcoming role in Shawn Levy's "Night at the Museum 2," but wait that's kind of weak as well. So the sidekick search is still on, I guess. Who is worthy of sacrificing themselves comically so that Shia may thrive I don't know Justin Long may still be available.
Wonder what the breaking point in the negotiations was here.
