Following in the footsteps of JJ Abrams, David Chase is going from the small screen to the big by way of Paramount.

A feature film is long overdue from Chase, who has spent the last 30 odd years in television. The film -- of which very little is known -- is a drama that Chase himself will write and direct. What's more, the deal actually gives him final cut. Bravo, Paramount!

The only known information about the plot at this point is that the film will not deal with organized crime. We'll keep you updated with details as they emerge, including whether or not this project will have an ending.
