Today we got a trio of movie posters, all promoting comic book films set for release in 2008.  First up is a poster/banner for "The Dark Knight" featuring the Joker.  I really have high hopes for Ledger's performance; not only because it was the last completed film before his death, but simply because after seeing only the trailer, I find it highly imitable.  It involves a lot of licking your lips and seeming like you're really thirsty.  That may sound belittling, but I like it.  It gives the character a distinct stamp and adds an extra layer of creepiness.
