Opening on August 13^th is “Tropic Thunder” and it’s the first film directed by Ben Stiller since “Zoolander.” And just like his 2001 movie, this one is absolutely worth your time.

If you haven’t heard of “Tropic Thunder” yet…

The film is an action comedy about a group of self-absorbed actors that set out to make the biggest war film ever.  After ballooning costs (and the out of control egos of the pampered cast) threaten to shut down the movie, the frustrated director refuses to stop shooting, leading his cast deep into the jungles of Southeast Asia for “increased realism,” where they inadvertently encounter real bad guys.

The film stars an amazing cast (Robert Downey Jr, Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Nick Nolte, Steve Coogan and Jay Baruchel) and it even has a former A list actor playing a studio executive that will bring the house down at any screening you go to. Seriously. It’s an amazing performance from someone you will not believe.

Anyway, we’ve just been given 6 clips from the film and you can watch them all below. Also…in the next few days we’ll have interviews with most of the cast.

Finally, we’ve already posted 3 reviews for “Tropic Thunder” (Kenny, Rachel and Matt) and each one has said the same thing….it’s frickin’ awesome!  And now I’m stepping to the plate to say the same thing. I absolutely loved the film as well. Absolutely 100% recommended.  Enjoy the clips....
