Ang Lee Is Still TAKING WOODSTOCK

From the list of films that were halted last month due to the unresolved Screen Actor's Guild clusterfuck, you can now scratch off Ang Lee's next feature "Taking Woodstock." The Focus Features project, which was penned by long-time Lee collaborator James Schamus, will begin shooting later this month.
"Taking Woodstock" is based on the memoirs of Elliott Tiber – a young man who helped the 1969 Woodstock music festival get back to the garden (aka his neighbor Max Yasgur's farm in upstate New York). Tiber will be played by stand-up comedian and "The Daily Show" contributor Demetri Martin. Fuck man! Who is going to help me Spot Trends while he's off playing in the mud?
Other notables in the "Woodstock" cast, according to Daily Variety, include Emile Hirsch (as a Vietnam Vet), Liev Shreiber (in talks to play a transvestite) and Eugene Levy as Max Yasgur… I'm sure they all know to stay away from the brown acid.
