I know a lot of you are excited about seeing "Twilight" this weekend. I know this because a lot of you have been paying close attention to all the "Twilight" related interviews our tireless leader Frosty has posted over the last week or so… and if I never said it before let me say it now – Thank You. And in return for your kind solicitation of our website I have a bit of advice to offer you: buy your tickets NOW.
Online ticket brokers Fandango and MovieTickets reported Monday that presales for "Twilight" are going fast – especially for many of the midnight screenings scheduled for Thursday night. About 500 of those shows are already booked on Fandango, so unless you want to be the only kid in town who had to wait until the Sunday matinee to meet the Cullens – I'd get online and quick.
To explain why a movie without an established star from a small studio has generated this unprecedented level of excitement, Fandango's Rick Butler said: "That's a tribute to power of the blockbuster novel, solid word-of-mouth on the movie's early screenings and savvy Internet marketing."
Yes, "internet marketing," I think I've heard of that…
