Remember when Disney bought Pixar for some crazy amount of money a few years ago and many folks wondered if they overpaid.

“Bolt” is the film that ends that debate.

That’s because “Bolt” is the first Disney animated film that was Executive Produced by John Lasseter….and it shows in every way imaginable.

Unlike some of the last few Disney animated films that were made before Disney and Pixar joined forces, this one was more like a Pixar movie, and that’s not a compliment I give out lightly.

The characters were fun, the animation was great, and there were a number of funny scenes as well as some that pulled at your heart strings. Basically, it had everything a great animated movie should have.

And I definitely attribute that to John Lasseter. I think we can all agree that John is a rare talent and someone that I’m sure Walt Disney would be proud to have carrying on his legacy.

Anyway, tomorrow I’ll have an exclusive interview with Mr. Lasseter and it’s amazing. I won’t spoil what we talked about…but let’s just say you’re going to learn a lot about where he works....

So until then, watch some new clips from "Bolt." And if you don't know the story...

For super-dog BOLT (voice of JOHN TRAVOLTA), every day is filled with adventure, danger and intrigue—at least until the cameras stop rolling. When the star of a hit TV show is accidentally shipped from his Hollywood soundstage to New York City, he begins his biggest adventure yet—a cross-country journey through the real world to get back to his owner and co-star, Penny (voice of MILEY CYRUS).  Armed only with the delusions that all his amazing feats and powers are real, and the help of two unlikely traveling companions—a jaded, abandoned housecat named Mittens (voice of SUSIE ESSMAN) and a TV-obsessed hamster named Rhino (voice of MARK WALTON) -- Bolt discovers he doesn’t need superpowers to be a hero.  Directed by Disney veterans Chris Williams and Byron Howard, BOLT is a hilarious, fun-filled, action-packed animated comedy adventure in Disney Digital 3-D.
