Warner Bros. released a number of images yesterday from their 2008 slate of films. Now, a day later, they have released a few more. While the first batch of images was notable for featuring a new Joker shot, this batch is great because it’s the first time we can see Steve Carell with a shoe phone. We all knew the shoe phone would make an appearance in “Get Smart,” but it’s still nice to see.

The other images released were from “Where the Wild Things Are.” One of the images has been online for months, but the second image is brand new and it looks awesome. I love how we still don’t know much about the movie – from the tone to the way Spike Jonze has created the world of Max and his friends. While the movie is still a ways off (October 2008), I’m so excited to see one of my favorite books as a child on the big screen.
