Fox Renews PRISON BREAK

Fans of erratic, penal dramas rejoice! “Prison Break” has been renewed!

Fox announced Monday a full fourth season pick-up for the once riveting, now merely perplexing, convict adventure starring Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller… And to think they said a show about a prison break couldn’t last once the aforementioned ‘break’ occurred… fools.

I have made no secret of my devotion to “Prison Break.” I watched it, despite myself, even as the sub-plot about the comically evil “Company” tipped into the realm of the ridiculous. Was it the characters that kept me watching? Not really. The exploits of the Burrows clan ceased to be interesting at about the time they made good on their first escape. So, do I dig exec-producer Brett Ratner? No, in fact I think I threw up a little in my mouth as I typed that question.

No, it is that sweet Wentworth Miller and his tattooed fineness that I love. Now, I admit, I was annoyed with all 12 episodes of season three. Michael Scofield is incarcerated in Panama people! Do you think he would be wearing a long-sleeved T shirt all day? Don’t you know that seeing that man without his shirt on is the only thing that keeps me from turning to CBS for my Monday night entertainment? I am sure that the makeup job on Miller is a bitch, but you built an audience around those tats. It seems miserly to withhold them now. And, just so you know, keeping Lincoln permanently unbuttoned is no substitute. That man is way too Aryan Nation.

I’ll just have to hope that season four will afford Michael some opportunities to strip. Hell, his woman and about all his friends are dead now, who has he got to dress up for?

Wonder how T Bag really got his nickname here.
