If it feels like all I’m doing is pimping the new Fox shows today…you might be right. It could be that I feel bad for running that negative Happening review last night…but the real reason is, they’ve given me a lot of stuff to post for things I’m looking forward to.

The fact is, I like Joss Whedon and J.J. Abrams, so helping to promote their new shows is easy. Add to that, I’m a fan of “Family Guy” and I LOVED “Arrested Development,” so promoting the new Mitchell Hurwitz show is a no brainer.

Basically, Fox is getting ready to launch a lot of new shows that I think fandom should be excited for…hence why I’m covering all of them this afternoon.

Anyway, I’ve been given the first images from “The Cleveland Show” and “Sit Down, Shut up.” Both shows are animated, and both will be airing on Sunday nights. And based on the synopses, both sound interesting and worth checking out.

THE CLEVELAND SHOW (working title): THE CLEVELAND SHOW (working title) is the story of what happens when FAMILY GUY's Cleveland Brown (voiced by Mike Henry) moves to Stoolbend, VA, to make good on a promise to his high school sweetheart. THE CLEVELAND SHOW (working title) airs Sundays (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) this spring on FOX.

SIT DOWN, SHUT UP: (working title) From Emmy Award winner Mitchell Hurwitz ("Arrested Development"), SIT DOWN, SHUT UP (working title) follows a group of unconventional staff members working at a high school in a small northeastern fishing town. SIT DOWN, SHUT UP (working title) airs Sundays (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) this spring on FOX.
