If you want to get me interested in a show, make sure you have the DVDs and are willing to loan them. There are plenty of shows I still need to watch but since I don't know anyone that owns them (or is willing to lend them to me), I haven't seen the brilliance of "The Wire", "Rome" or "B.J. and the Bear". When it premiered back in 2005, I didn't give "Supernatural" much notice since A) it aired at the same as NBC comedies The Office and 30 Rock; B) attractive male leads make me feel self-conscious about my physical appearance; and C) I didn't really know what the show was about and no one could sum it up in one strong sentence (here's why "Lost" is must-watch television: A bunch of strangers are on a fucked-up island but there's no Jeff Probst--at least not yet).

But I have a close friend who's a passionate follower of "Supernatural" and was kind enough to loan me her DVDs and make me into a convert (that's what TV on DVD was meant for). So now I anxiously await the fourth season premiere (I have DVR now so I can have all my shows! All of them! And no social life!) and these two clips help ease the anxiety.

For those who suffered a blow to the head and forgot what happened in the third season finale, Dean (the adorable Jensen Ackles) was dragged to hell after selling his soul to save his brother Sam's (the scrumptious Jared Padalecki) life. But you can't keep a good demon-hunter down and the fourth season picks up four months after last year's finale with Dean back from the dead in the appropriately titled episode, "Lazarus Rising".

We have two clips to show you from the new episode. The first involves Dean visiting Bobby (Jim Beaver, who I spoke with earlier today and hope to have that interview up sometime next week along with a bunch of other "Supernatural" interviews we did during Comic-Con) after coming back to us now at the turn of the tide. The second clip shows the boys visiting with a psychic to learn how Dean got busted out of hell and showing us that while he may have been tortured in the bowels of eternal damnation, Dean hasn't lost a step when it comes to the ladies.

Enjoy the clips and remember to tune in on September 18th, at 9/8c on The CW for the season premiere of "Supernatural".
