With NBC’s “Heroes” set to return next week with its season premiere, we’ve been provided with 6 clips from the two hour episode. So if you’ve been waiting all summer for the return of the show, after the jump you can see some new footage. Since I’ve already written about my thoughts on the show, I’m just going to leave you with the clips. Also, I’m in Toronto at the Film Festival and have got a lot to write about…but I’ll say it again, getting Ray Park on the show was a smart move. In one of the clips you can see his powers.

Writer/producer Bryan Fuller (”Heroes,” “Pushing Daisies”) and director/producer Bryan Singer (”X-Men,” “The Usual Suspects”) are teaming up with NBC and Mark Bozek, formerly of the Home Shopping Network, to create an hour-long dramedy series of Augusten Burroughs’ “Sellevision.” The novel follows the inner-workings of a fictional home shopping channel, but the series will be less of a satire of HSN and more of a grounded series. More about the show, and whether or not it’s something to be psyched about, after the jump.

I want to be this show’s biggest fan. I love the concept of a weekly show about people dealing with superpowers and an evil government agency coming to get them. I also really like that it doesn’t shy away from the violence, especially when it comes to the ruthless power collecting ultimate bad guy (who at times shows his good side) Sylar. What I don’t like is how scattered and uneven this show has become. I dare anyone to try and make sense out of the first half of the season titled “Villains”. The only crime committed was a lack of concern for a coherent plot. Luckily the second half of the season “Fugitives” got the show focused in and back on track. More after the jump…

While I have serious issues with NBC’s “Heroes”, I still watch every week. As I have said repeatedly on Collider, if you put people with super powers on TV, I’ll tune in. I know I have a problem.
Anyway, each season I always think this will be the year “Heroes” gets it right. They’ll finally write the show with some intelligence and come up with an interesting storyline. But then the show premieres, and I get mad that I still watch. So will this be the year “Heroes” turns it around? Probably not. But they have added Robert Knepper and Ray Park, so they’ve at least done something right. Anyhow, NBC has just released the synopsis for the two hour premiere airing September 21st, so if you want to know what the premiere is about, click the jump. When NBC releases clips I’ll post them.

If you’ve been reading Collider for any amount of time, you know how we feel about Milo Ventimiglia. Since first interviewing him about a year and a half ago, Milo has been a great supporter of the site and has made himself available whenever we’ve had a question. Also, he’s one of the nicest actors in the business.
Anyway, at this year’s Comic-Con, the cast of Neveldine/Taylor’s “Gamer” was out promoting and Jonah was able to sit down with Milo as I couldn’t make the interview. But don’t worry, Jonah stepped up to the plate and asked some great questions. So if you’d like to see Milo talk about his work in “Gamer”, “Heroes”, and video games, take a look after the jump:

If you missed the “Heroes” presentation at Comic-Con where they premiered footage from the next volume entitled “Redemption”, there is no need to be upset. That’s because NBC has released the extended trailer and I’ve posted it after the jump. Take a look:

If you spent all of Friday in Hall H, then prepare to spend all day in Ballroom 20 on Saturday because, like it or not, Saturday is essentially TV Day at Comic-Con. Yes, there’s definitely some stuff going down in Hall H that’s worth your time like “Iron Man 2″, Mike Judge’s “Extract”, and “Zombieland”. However, all the major TV stuff (with a few exceptions) is going down in Ballroom 20 including “Chuck”, “Futurama”, “Family Guy”, “The Cleveland Show”, “V”, and “Fringe”.
Oh, and for all of you who like stuff that is complete and utter shit, Saturday also features panels for “True Blood”, “Heroes”, and “The Boondock Saints II”. If there was a panel on punching off your genitals, I would say that would be preferable to any of those. But it your time and your schedule and I’m sure all those rooms will be packed. They’ll just be packed with people I hate because they like things I don’t. That’s how it works.
Hit the jump to check out the full schedule for Saturday where I’ve highlighted events that I think may be popular (even where if I think that popularity is totally undeserved). And if you missed it, click here for Friday and click here for Thursday.

NBC and Syfy have just announced some exclusives for this year’s Comic-Con. While most of the items are only for the die-hard fans, two of them caught my eye. One is a “Chuck” supervisor polo from their fictional store Buy More. The other is easily the best exclusive of the bunch. It’s a “Battlestar Galactica” toaster which creates the image of a Cylon on your toast! Admit that’s cool.
Since all the items are limited, if you want either of them, I’d pre-order them now at nbcuniversalstore.com. More info on the other exclusives from “Heroes”, “The Office” and “Caprica” after the jump:

A few nights ago was the 2009 Saturn Awards in Burbank. As the event was going on, many of the winners came backstage for photos and interviews. One of them was Adrian Pasdar - who had just won for Best Supporting Actor on a Television Show (”Heroes” - Nathan Petrelli).
Anyway, after the jump you can watch our conversation where we talked about the Saturn Awards, Comic-Con, why “Heroes” is only coming back for 18 or 19 episodes this season, how the entire season is one volume, and more. Take a look:
