In the next few days I’m going to be posting a number of contests. Thankfully, everything that’s about to be offered is stuff that a lot of you’re going to want. But unlike the previous contests that have run on Collider…I’m actually going to make you work to get it for free.

Now before you get all nervous…it’s still going to be very easy to win!

Rather than just sending me an email with what you want and your name…I’m going to make you answer 3 easy questions to qualify. This way only the people who really want it will enter.

And before you get to what you have to do…I’m sure you want to know what you can win. This contest is for free copies of DBZ: Burst Limit, Alone in the Dark and Top Spin 3…and the winners get to pick which system they want the game on!

Here’s what you need to do. Email thecollidermailbox@gmail.com

In the headline say July Video Game Contest

In the body of the email please answer the three questions below and include which game you want and your name. If you answer the questions correctly, you’ll be entered in the contest. On July 30th at noon Pacific Time, I’ll randomly pick the winners. If you’ve won, I’ll contact you to get your address and which system you want the game on, and then the company sponsoring the contest will mail you the item.

The only thing to know is…this contest is only open to residents of the United States.

Anyway, here are the three questions and further down is what you can win!

Question 1 – What day did we post the article Collider goes to an early Capcom E3 Event?

Question 2 – What day did we post our Alone in the Dark DVD Review – it was written by Hunter

Question 3 – What day did Grand Theft Auto 4 get released?

DBZ: Burst Limit - 1 winner
·    Game for the system of their choice (PS3 or 360)
·    DBZ: Burst Limit Swag – T-shirt, Hat & Poster

DBZ
Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit is revolutionizing the series by entering the realm of next-generation gaming. Complete with fierce online battles and radical 3D graphic effects, Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit will blur the line between videogame and iconic anime series. Jam-packed with graphically enhanced playable characters, realistic battle stages and environments, players can take hold and experience Dragon Ball Z as never before.

During each battle, find conditions to create new dramatic scenes. After the battles, watch a unique story unfold each time you play. There is also a stronger element of offense and defense, due to added energy saving and fighting techniques.

Alone in the Dark - 2 winners
·    Winner chooses game - system of their choice (Wii, 360)
·    Alone in the Dark: Hat & T-shirt

Alone in the Dark
Taking the fear to a new level, the next-gen Alone in the Dark features the macabre style of the series played with new gameplay mechanics and a broader-reaching, action-packed play style. Explore fully-interactive realtime worlds, interacting with physics and roaming the wide-open, fright-filled environments.

This next-gen Alone in the Dark is also built around a unique episodic game structure -- the story is split into a number of distinct 30-40 minute episodes, doled out one at a time as you play. Each time the player launches a saved game, the episode will begin with a video summary of the previous episode to quickly re-immerse the player in the story and removing the need to remember where they were or what they were doing. Every episode will close with a nail-biting cliff-hanger ending to rattle players' nerves, and if the player is leaving the game a video teaser of the next episode will play to leave them wanting more.

Top Spin 3 - 3 winners
 -Grand Prize: (1 Winner)
      -Top Spin track jacket

Top Spin Tennis
In Top Spin 3, players compete online and offline to rise in the ranks against current top ranked professional players. Created by 2K's Paris studio, PAM Development, Top Spin 3 immerses players in a visually and physically realistic tennis experience. Using next generation technology, gameplay and graphics, Top Spin 3 features dynamic weather changes, evolutionary player visuals and the most comprehensive online offerings. Adding a unique user-generated component, players can also use new player creator features that include free-form body sculpting, makeup and tattoos.
