Activision Announces GUITAR HERO WORLD TOUR Set List

I caught the “Guitar Hero” craze very late in the game. In fact, it was “Rock Band” that actually pulled me into the genre. That being said, I’m now hooked, and I play the plastic guitar whenever I can fit it into my schedule. The game is actually so popular with regular folks…I’ve actually been to a number of parties where it's on and people are always playing. It’s actually great to see folks that hate video games get turned on by the game…

Anyway, while “Guitar hero” has just been using the guitar’s, “Guitar Hero World Tour” will be the first in the series to let you use other instruments like “Rock Band.” As a fan of the genre, I think it’s great that both series are going to use the full band, as competition always leads to innovation and cheaper prices for the consumer.

So, with the game arriving on October 26th, Activision has just released the set list and it’s pretty impressive - with the game featuring Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Van Halen, Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne and Michael Jackson! And just like “Rock Band,” I’d imagine this is just the start of the list of sings…as they’ll probably offer downloaded content as it’s an easy way to make more money on a title you’re already bought…Here's the list:
